What We’re Doing Here
Hey, so I should explain a little bit about what I’m doing here. This is my photo blog where I will show you recent and old photos, explain where/what I shot, and hopefully receive some feedback. The site it a place for me to showcase my work and for you, my fans(!/?), to see my latest shots.
The first shot here is from 92.9’s Earth Fest on Saturday, 5/30, along the Charles River in Boston. The main stage was far too busy, so I found a small band playing up the river from the Hatch Shell. They had a good sound and were fun to watch, this is what I consider to be my best shot of the group.
Thanks for stopping by!
Zach

Nice shot.
I like the fact that you can see the violinist in the musician’s sunglasses; it gives the viewer a sense of 360° of vision into the entire scene. The expression you seem to have captured is one of synchronicity and enjoyment of the shared creative effort - music. I also like the fact that you’ve left some free space on the right side of the photo. The lighting is good, it appears to be a sunny day but the photo is neither too bright nor too dim.
There’s a lot going on here, my eyes keep bouncing from one detail to another!
But overall, it’s an energetic photo, very dynamically captured as musicians are of course typically moving around and doing their thing.
